Location: Campus El Segundo

League Fee: The league fee is $203.00 per team. The cost for non-resident groups is $243.00 per team. League fees and completed rosters are due by the registration deadline.

"A" League: Advanced/Intermediate skill level.  Games are typically played on the East Field at Campus El Segundo

"B" League: Beginner/Intermediate skill level. Games are typically played on the West Field at Campus El Segundo

Your team must meet one of the three criteria:

1. El Segundo Resident Team: Participants must be a resident of El Segundo with a valid Rec ID Card or have a California Driver’s License/CA ID with a residential address. Teams must be comprised of at least seventy-five percent El Segundo residents to meet this criteria.
2. El Segundo Business Sponsored Team: Participants must be:
   • An employee of the El Segundo company/business that is sponsoring your team. A letter from management must accompany your roster on company/business letterhead to verify employment OR
   • A resident of El Segundo with a valid Rec ID or have a California Driver’s License/CA ID with a residential address. Seventy-five percent of the participants must meet one of these two requirements.
3. Non-Resident Team: If the maximum amount of teams isn't met for the league, then non-resident teams will be accepted to meet the league max. 

The last week to add or drop players from your roster will be the midway point of the season (TBD.) An official add/drop form can be obtained (at any time) at the field, the Checkout Building or by e-mail.

REMINDER: All roster changes will require an add/drop form. The submission deadline will be the same as the forfeit notification (4:00 p.m. the day before your scheduled game). Any person(s) submitted after this deadline will not be eligible.

Referee fees are $25.00 per team per game (due each game prior to game time). Game officials are independent contractors and do not work for the City of El Segundo. All comments regarding officiating should be directed to the Recreation Specialist on site.

1. Go to esrec.org and log in (the username is your email)
   If using a smartphone or tablet, select the “desktop version” before proceeding
2. In the top left corner, you should see an "account" tab. Select that item
3. From your "dashboard" you should see "Adult Coed 7v7 Soccer League "A" or "B" League
4. Select your team name which will open up the schedule to view the standings
5. You can sync the schedule with the calendar on your device (or computer)
6. Team members can be sent an invitation to view the same information
   (requires first/last name and email)

The City of El Segundo Adult Coed 7v7 Soccer League utilizes the IFAB Laws of the Game, except where overridden by the following supplemental rules. Managers are responsible for knowing the IFAB Laws of the Game (LOTG) and supplemental rules and communicating them to their players.

Referee Fees: Referee fees are $25.00 per team per game (paid in cash prior to each game).

Players:

• A minimum of five players are required to play a game with at least two female players. 
• A maximum of four male players may be on the field at any time. (ex: four males, three females) NO EXCEPTIONS!
• There is no maximum number of female players allowed on the field.
• A minimum of two female players must be on the field at all times (ex: four males, two females.)
• Any team who is unable to meet the male/female requirements forfeits the match unless both managers agree. 

• To play with the available team members present (while still meeting the minimum number of five players). 
•  On loaning players from one team to another to meet the minimum number of five players.
•  Players can only be loaned to increase a team’s player count to a maximum of seven.
• Once the mangers agree to play, that agreement is final no matter the outcome (score) of the game.

If both managers cannot agree, the team who cannot meet the player requirements is responsible for paying both team’s referees fees ($50.00). This should be paid at the game site if possible, or paid at the Checkout Building within one week of the scheduled game.

Referee:
a) Pre-Match Duties:

1. The referee will check-in players using the roster and the player’s picture ID provided by the team managers.
2. No metal cleats
3. All players must wear shin guards. Shin guards must be completely covered by socks.
4. No jewelry may be worn unless it is completely covered and the referee deems them safe to all players.
5. There is a five minute grace period from the time a game is scheduled to begin.
6. Players not on the roster or without an ID card cannot play unless the Recreation Specialist verifies eligibility.
7. Conducts a coin toss with the visiting team calling the coin toss with the winner deciding on direction or kickoff.

b) Match Duties and League/ Match Rules:

1. Misconduct: Team managers will provide he name of any player receiving a Yellow or Red card to the Referee.
2. Substitutes can occur during active play or when the ball is out of play.
      
        

No smoking or alcohol consumption will be permitted at any city field or facility.  

Managers and players shall display good sportsmanship at all times. Fighting, arguing, abusive language and swearing will not be tolerated. Players not abiding by these guidelines may be excluded from play.

Fighting is an automatic indefinite suspension for every player involved and this cannot be appealed. Teams involved in a fight will also be suspended indefinitely until the Sports Supervisor makes a decision on the severity of the suspension. If a player is issued a red card for any reason, that player will be suspended for the remainder of the current game as well as the next game. The player will also be subject to further suspension should it be deemed necessary by the Recreation Specialist.

A minimum of five players are required to play a game. Minimum two women and three men).  A MAXIMUM of four male players may be on the field at any time. A team who is unable to meet those requirements is responsible for paying both referees’ fees ($50.00 total). This should be done at the game site if possible, or paid at the Checkout Building within one week of the scheduled game. 

There is a five minute grace period from the time your game is scheduled to begin. If any team knows in advance that they will have to forfeit, please send an email to the Recreation Specialist immediately to avoid paying the $50.00 penalty. The Recreation Specialist must be contacted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday night (email preferred). If the Recreation Specialist doesn’t respond to you within 30 minutes, please contact the Checkout Building at 310-524-2700.

Let the Checkout Staff know that you’re with the 7v7 Coed Soccer League, your team name,who you are playing and what time your game is.

Staff will get into contact with the Recreation Specialist or the referees to ensure that your forfeit request is communicated to all parties involved. If a request is made after the 4:00 p.m. deadline on Thursday, that request will be denied and the forfeiting team will have to pay both referee fees.
